Message	sports car, not a drag/dyno queen for big #'s and bragging rights. Reliability and drivability are the biggest reasons why most Z owners who mod go to the 400-550 whp range. Detonation is the main reason why 'pump gas' limits overall #'s to around the 500 whp levels. Tuning will allow for more, but why bother? There are quite a few Z's on this site that are able to go higher than 500 whp, (possibly on pump gas) but turn down teh boost for streetability.
